Similar to buying a song from iTunes, it's so easy and pretty much 'pressing the buy button w/o thinking', which can be very dangerous. If I really like the movie/TV shows, I will buy a hard copy, otherwise renting makes more sense. I tried Handbrake 0.9.2's Apple TV preset on a standard def DVD. If the movie rental thing catches on in the USA, and then gets introduced here - my money will be flying towards the nearest Apple store faster than you can say "impulse buyer".
