Thanks for the speirs.org linky. I always find surprises when coming back to your site.

Hopefully, Apple will add/fix something on 8.0.1.

Fraser Speirs, the man behind FlickrExport at Connected Flow, has written a very thorough review of the new iPhoto '09 Flickr support, describing the very odd way that by removing even a Flickr source list item in iPhoto will actually kill it on Flickr aswell!

FlickrExport Beta 3 has been downloaded and installed to iPhoto '09 now. Ahhh, that feels better. Barebones Flickr uploaders just do not cut the mustard after using one with bells and whistles.

Hope you enjoy, Oscar :)

It may have been purely coincidental, Kenneth, for things to stop working after the iLife bundle update. I had various plugins in iPhoto which may have been causing things to stop working as intended.

I have deleted the FlickrExport plugin on your recommendation, Chris, and iPhoto seems to be far snappier now. I'll wait for it to be compatible with iPhoto '09. Thanks for your help!

Samantha, if you use the FlickrExport 3 beta on the ConnectedFlow site, it should upload the geotag information. Of course, I would use FlickrExport with caution (or not at all) until it is updated for compatibility with iPhoto '09.

I've been using the betas for, I think, a year now, and the latest is very stable. Release Candidate worthy.

I thought the 'iLife Media Browser Update' is meant to be used for Aperture, iLife '08, and iWork '08.

I didn't do any of the iLife-related update yesterday since I will receive iLife '09 very soon.
