Sam, I like to use the WP percentage method because then you can let the viewer click on a picture to see the bigger version.

I actually like the WordPress admin, it has come on a lot from the early days, though works better in browsers other than Safari

However, thats a great write up and has tempted me to try it out as I have a couple of wordpress blogs for my business and hope to get my personal one up as soon as I come up with a domain name.

Tom, resizing pictures isn’t something I ever did within WordPress, infact I didn’t even know one could. I always resize in Pixelmator or Picturesque http://www.acqualia.com/picturesque/ before my pics come into a blog post.

tomacintosh: You’re right. It’s a shortcoming in MarsEdit today. It’s an area of the application that I plan to expand a great deal in future updates.

In the meantime a lot of people find a good compromise using MarsEdit with another app like Skitch or ImageWell.

One thing that bugged me about MarsEdit is resizing pictures, it’s so easy using the WPadmin tools to reduce the size, seems like a pain in MarsEdit, maybe I’m not seeing something.
