My name is Sam. I’m easy-going and a-very-young 34 years old, from North East England.

I’m quite a gadget girl and seem to spend more on latest technology than I do on anything else - even clothes! So yeah, I’m a badly dressed gadget geek I also like taking photos of just about anything that stays still long enough - or even if it doesn’t I’ll snap it anyway. For the past 7 years or so I’ve been using a 2MP SONY Cybershot digital camera, but I’ve recently made the long-overdue upgrade to a Fuji S5700 7MP camera.

I’ve been using Macs since mid-2005, when I purchased my Mac Mini G4. That was the first Mac I’d ever used, but it spawned the beginning of a new era for me. My set-up now consists of 20in iMac Core 2 Duo, Apple PowerBook G4 and iMac G3 - oh and mustn’t forget my 8GB iPod touch!

My favourite *social networking* websites are Twitter and Flickr. I have met some of the funniest and nicest people there, ahhhhh.

The site that makes me laugh the most, ever, is I Can Has Cheezburger.

My favourite Mac apps are NetNewsWire, Twitterrific, Camino, Skitch, CSSEdit, Pixelmator, Picturesque, SnapNDrag, Cyberduck FTP.

My favourite TV shows are Family Guy, Little Britain, The Golden Girls, Home Improvement, Seinfeld, American Dad, Hope & Faith, Taxi, The Munsters, The Simpsons and probably too many more to mention!

My favourite music is Jamiroquai, Incognito, Miguel Migs, Groove Armada and I’m really quite partial to DJ ALA’s mix session podcasts and DI.FM Deep House, which keep me happy when I’m working or browsing the net.

My favourite hot beverage is Coffee. My favourite cold beverage is Diet Coke. Srsly.

For those occasions when I have to leave the house, I do so either in a bright yellow Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo or a not-so-in-your-face blue Renault Megane Grand Scenic.

I live with a hairy musician called Jerry and a hairy German Shepherd dog called Shaka.

Interesting fact: My favourite colours in the whole wide world are Purple and Lime, but I never wear either colour as it really doesn’t suit me. I know, weird huh.
